The FBM Foundation continues its commitment to creating meaningful impact by supporting vulnerable communities through initiatives rooted in care, dignity, and long-term well-being.

As part of this mission, the FBM Foundation supported Lar São José, a residential care home for children and young people aged 0 to 17, located in Diadema, São Paulo, Brazil. This institution shelters children who have experienced situations of violence, abuse, or neglect, providing them with protection, stability, and emotional support during critical moments of their lives.

Creating a space where children can simply be children

One of the long-standing dreams of the team at Lar São José was to create an indoor space where children of different ages could feel comfortable, safe, and engaged within the home.
The vision included:

• A dedicated space for babies and younger children to interact and explore safely;
• A table and shared area where older children could spend time together playing board and card games;
• Wall niches to better organize books and make more efficient use of the available space.

The Foundation fully funded the purchase of all toys and the necessary structure to create this space exactly as envisioned by the caregivers, respecting their knowledge of the children’s needs and daily routines.

A collective effort to bring Christmas joy

Alongside this initiative, and inspired by the same spirit of care, FBM Group employees were invited to volunteer by purchasing Christmas gifts for the children living at the home.

Thanks to this collective effort, all 25 children currently sheltered at Lar São José received a Christmas present, helping make the holiday season warmer and more meaningful.

This gesture reinforces the belief that impact grows stronger when institutions and individuals come together around a shared purpose.
